Cushing Slender Rongeur
1.5 mm x 10.0 mm slender jaws Cushing Slender Rongeur is an instrument ideally suited for use in neurosurgical orthopedic procedures that require cutting or clipping of the intervertebral discs (IVDs). This fibrocartilagenous layer lies between the vertebrae of the spine. A variety of spinal procedures including discectomies require manipulation of IVDs and this rongeur is designed to do so. It features a ring handle design which aids in manual operation as well as the jaws being set at an angle from the handles allowing them to be immersed in the field while the handles are still easily accessible. This instrument is available in two lengths 7″ and 9″ and either straight or angled up or down.
